The DSi rolled out a new firmware v1.4.2 at the beginning of May 2011. Accordingly, R4i-SDHC team  released its 1.4.2 update patch for R4i SDHC V1.4.1 card on May 15th, 2011. However, we receive some feedbacks that this 1.4.2 update patch does not work for their R4i SDHC V1.4.1 card. After trying, we figure out the problem.

Only the following requirements are met will the 1.4.2 update patch works for the R4i SDHC V1.4.1 card.

1. Make sure that your R4i SDHC card is "R4i SDHC card V1.4.1" manufactured by www.r4i-sdhc.com;

2. Check your R4i SDHC chip to see if it is a new version R4i SDHC card V1.4.1. There is an old version which is of Open Window in the front panel, and it does not support 1.4.2 update temporarily.
