Do you know how to check the firmware version of your 3DS console? Here’s the simple guide for your reference:  

1. Touch the following icon on the lower screen.

2. Check the right hand corner of the top screen which says Ver. 1.1.0-0U.

1.1.0-0 is the firmware version number while the letter 'U' stand for the region of your console.
Here are the versions of the 3DS firmware for your reference:

A = Australia
E = Europe
J = Japan
U = United States

Up till now, there are five version for 3DS:1.0.0-0, 1.1.0, 2.0.0-2, 2.1.0-3 and 2.1.0-4
